I recently spent a gorgeous afternoon with the Poiani Family at Old Petrie Town. This gorgeous little location is extreemly popular for weddings and portrait sessions. Rightly so, it has some stunning little spots throughout the entire venue that are very unique. From all the gorgeous little shops, to the ever popular Fig Trees, the Old Railway Station and so much more. It has a beautiful rustic, country and vintage feel to the place and I love photographing there. No matter whether I’m photographing a Portrait Session or a Wedding, the images are always full of some beautiful features.
I’ve known The Poiani Family for a little over a year now since they first arrived at the same childcare centre my kids go to. It didn’t take my youngest son who was only about 18mths old when he first layed eyes on little Indie to fall madly in love with her. Now my son Bailey & Indie are still going strong and their love has only become stronger. They both turn 3 later in the year so it’s a pretty special relationship they have. Since my son developed his love for Indie, I’ve gotten to know not only Indie well but also her parents, Nate & Kylie so when they won a competition I ran earlier in the year they couldn’t wait for Old Petrie Town Family Portrait Session and to update their photos of their little family of 3.
We had a pretty relaxed session as we walked through Old Petrie Town and as I expected I had to pull out plenty of my tricks to get some really innocent photos of Indie. Plenty of patience is needed when working with young kids and lots of energy…THANK GOODNESS FOR COFFEE! haha I was buzzing after having a coffee before the session and had plenty of energy to burn which resulted in some lovely portraits of Kylie & Nate’s little princess.
See for yourself, take a look at some of the photos from Kylie & Nate’s Old Petrie Town Family Portrait Session!
If you’d like to get some gorgeous photos just like The Poiani Family, YOU CAN…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!
